I organised in 1995 the first International Workshop on the Cognitive Bases of Learning, in 1998-1999 the Primary Teachers' Quality Circle for Science, in 1999 and 2000 two workshops for the Bombay Association of Science Education on How Children Understand Science and Language in Science Learning, and in 2004 epiSTEME-1 the First International Conference to Review Research in Science, Technology and Mathematics Education at Goa.
