HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF
HBCSE LIBRARY:~
- Students above 10 years (Class 5
and above) as well as interested adults may apply
to become members of the HBCSE Library.
- Students / users above Class 12 (+2 level) have
to pay Rs.100/- towards annual membership charges.
- Membership
will be valid for the period from June of one year to May of
the next year. This is independent of when you apply for
membership.
- Membership forms are available with the security
personnel at HBCSE's main gate for the cost of Rs.10/-.
- Please read the instructions
given on the membership form carefully.
LIBRARY HOURS

Monday to Friday:- 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.

Library will remain closed for visitors
on Saturdays, Sundays & all government holidays.
PLEASE NOTE:

Please submit two recent STAMP
SIZE photographs along with the filled membership form.
- Please bring your school/college/office I-Card
for verification at the time of submitting the membership form.
Users not belonging to any Organization should bring valid identification
proof.
- All forms are
subject to a verification procedure. A Reader Pass will be issued
to all those who are admitted as members.
- The
Reader Pass is valid only for the use of HBCSE library and is
compulsory for entry in the library.
- The
Pass should be produced when demanded by the security and the
library staff.
- Smoking,
photography and conversation are strictly prohibited in the
library.
- Readers
are requested to use the books, journals and furniture of the
library with care.
- Writing
or marking in the books, journals is strictly forbidden.
- The
Librarian may use his/ her discretion to disallow any visitor
from using the library if the facility is not being used properly.
- Personal
books, notebooks, files, bags, water bottles, etc. should be
kept at the entrance counter.
- Readers are requested not to re-shelve
the books.
- Books, journals and other library
material will not be issued to the users.
- Members are requested to keep their
mobiles on silent mode before entering the library premises.
- The books are arranged according
to the Dewey Decimal Classification system. The users
have open access to the library collection but are requested not to re-shelve/mis-shelve
the books after consultation. Please keep them on the
trolley or on the table.
